1. Who we are

ViralVault is the data controller for the personal data we collect via this site. Contact us at viralvault.site@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

When you buy a guide: your name, email address, billing details (handled by our payment processor — we never see your full card number), and the items you bought.

When you sign up to our newsletter: your email address.

When you visit the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages people read — we don't track you across other websites.

3. Why we collect it

We use the data above to:

• Deliver the guide you bought, and send you future updates to it.
• Process your payment and issue invoices.
• Respond to your messages.
• Send the occasional product email if you've opted in.
• Understand how the site is being used so we can improve it.
• Comply with our legal obligations (e.g. tax records).

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted third parties to run the site:

• Payment processor — handles your payment and refunds.
• Email delivery service — sends your purchase email, guide updates and any newsletter you opt into.
• Hosting provider — runs the website.
• Analytics provider — anonymous, aggregated usage data.

We don't sell your data to anyone. We share only what each service needs to do its job, and only on contractual terms that protect your data.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for essential things like keeping your cart, plus optional analytics cookies you can opt out of. We don't use advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep purchase records for as long as legally required (typically 6–7 years for tax). Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

7. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data (subject to any legal record-keeping obligations we have).
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.

8. Children

The site isn't aimed at children under 16. If you think a child has sent us their data, please contact us and we'll delete it.

9. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside your country. Where that's the case we make sure equivalent privacy protections are in place via contractual safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy meaningfully, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, email previous buyers about the change.

11. Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your data, please reach out to us first — we'll do our best to make it right. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
